If your Airbus A400M Atlas won’t move after engine start in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, even with the parking brake released and thrust applied, you may be experiencing the A400M chock bug.
I ran into this problem myself in August 2026. I removed the wheel chocks during the walkaround, completed the startup, released the parking brake and applied thrust – but the aircraft would not move at all.
What’s the Problem?
Even though the wheel chocks have been visually removed, MSFS 2024 can still register them as active. This is related to an internal LVar used by the iniBuilds A400M.
The result is simple: everything looks ready for taxi, but the aircraft remains stuck in place.
The Fix
A small community add-on called iniBuilds A400M Chock Fix corrects the chock state and allows the aircraft to move normally.

Download the add-on, extract it and place the included folder in your MSFS 2024 Community folder.
After installing it, I was able to complete the normal Cold & Dark startup, remove the chocks and taxi the A400M normally.
So if your A400M refuses to move despite the brakes being released and the chocks removed, this fix may solve the problem.
